Financial planning, accountability, and investment strategy are carried out by the board’s investment committee and the finance and audit committee. the board also forms other committees as required to assist it in performing its duties.

The ssf represents a new funding mechanism for perimeter institute, but the continuation of a long history of partnership between the institute and the government of canada. the new funding will extend from 2024 through 2029, following the completion of perimeter’s current funding agreement.
